Ice Skating Pictures

Where has the time gone? I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas, New Year, and January.

Before I post with updates on upcoming events, I have to share these pictures from our ice skating event with Broadway Presbyterian on December 13.

Unfortunately, finals and holiday plans kept many people from coming, but Kerry, Kekla and I had a great time with Jessica and Clay from Broadway!

NY Cares Day!

I just got home from New York Cares Day 2008. The 20s/30s group had a team this year, and we had a lot of fun cleaning and painting at JHS 117 in the Bronx.

After moving boxes of books from the teacher's lounge to the science and social studies classrooms, we went to work painting in the school yard!

Yesterday's Lunch

Our plans to go to Tang Tang following the 11:15 service this morning were foiled when we discovered it had been closed by the health department. Oops! So we went to Soup Burg instead.

Next Sunday!

We will be going out to lunch together following the 11:15 am service on Sunday, September 28. We'll meet up the church lobby during coffee hour (you'll be able to recognize us as the people in our 20s and 30s) and will head out from there.

If you've never been to an event before, please know that newcomers are always welcomed. We look forward to seeing you!

Summer's Sunset!

I just got home from our first event of the season about an hour ago, and I think it's safe to say we had a great time. Old friends and new came together to kick off what I'm sure will be a great year!

Here are a few photos from tonight's event (taken primarily by Susan):
